tt races

there was only one place timmy loveless was going to be today and that was glued to manx radio for the isle of man senior race, i booked a day's annual leave to be able to listen to the commentary live, after an early start, [see other post somewhere on here] i settled down with the dogs to listen to the racing on my i-pad, half way into the first lap the race was red flagged following an accident at the bottom of bray hill when jonathon howarth lost control of his machine, rider escaped without injury but, unfortunately his machine ploughed into a group of spectators injuring eleven people, after a great week's racing, with lap record's falling and the o.g's, [old-guard, not original gangster's struggling to keep the pace with the young pretender's] the incident left a sour taste in the mouth, after a few hour's delay the senior eventually got under way in the late afternoon, lengthening shadow's, low sun and the expectation of five win's in a week and the pressure was cranked up on michael dunlop, mcpint, ever the old soldier must have sensed that and played it absolutely right, blazing away to an unbeatable lead, even throttling back during the last lap to ensure his 20th tt victory, a brilliant result for the morecambe missile, but, let's face it, the week belongs to michael dunlop, watching the tt coverage on the tv show's his dominance, a great week's racing and team loveless can't wait to get over for the classic tt in august, but, what really, really get's me is that the mainstream press and tv have not even mentioned the results of the racing until today's 'racing incident' then they all come out of the woodwork and sensationalised the accident, headlines calling for the banning of the tt do nothing to help, here's a suggestion for all the media lovey's, don't wait for negative stuff to happen, get your arse on a ferry over to the island and have a look what's happening, the racer's and the spectator's know the risks, we live in a health and safety, gone too-far, hi-vis, 'sue-me' world, the people who compete and spectate on the island are a special breed, stick your cheap comment's, we know what we like, [in your wardrobe]...........[bloody hell, must stop listening to my i-pod on shuffle, first person to tell me the song reference win's] big-up's and photo credits to christopher thomond, good stuff indeed.......
