gear lever fitted, used a sealed bearing from local bearing stockist so shift should be nice and smooth, the bolt through the bearing is a shouldered brake disc bolt, the shank is 10mm but the thread is 8mm, footpeg ball milled for grip, going to mill underneath of peg away too to cut weight, got a piece of nylon round-stock to machine up and fit to end of pegs, hopefully this will act as a crash-bung when i fall off.
attacked the rearset mounting with a ball end cutter, loses a little weight and adds a bit of interest, nipped in to see rob at racing lines to pick up my chain and picked up a length of braided hose and a couple of fittings to make up the line for the rear caliper, no matter how many lines i make up i always end up sticking the braiding into my fingers and drawing blood.
