up at buxton on sunday for a round of the flatrack racing series and i spied this beauty in the pit's, yep, it's a road bike, yamaha's venerable parallel twin has been the basis for many different bikes from road racer's to chopper's and rat bikes to cafe racers, i remember a very quick one being run in the drag's a good few years ago, but, it's given the street-tracker / flatracker treatment that work's best in my opinion, but, what do i know?  not a racer, no headlight so running a daytime mot like me on the sporty, wavy disc's all round sr 500 tank? the paintjob is great, simple black, white panel and red coach stripe and red 'trackmaster' and #3 decals to give it the racer look,  maxxis tyres look the business and the exhaust system is a real work of art, ending in two moto gp style 'orange segment' type megga's, very, very nice, good work fella.........
