finished the carb mounting bracket off tonight, made a couple of locating studs out of a piece of stainless round stock, loctited at the manifold joint where it mounts to the barrel, nylocks at the top end to keep the carb located against the mounting flange, it's not walloped up too tight against the rubber so hopefully we won't get the fuel frothing caused by the carb bouncing about just on the rubber mounting, plus i hope we have finally cured the 'carb ejection' problem that we had at rockingham, it was a bit too late to start it up and run it down the road, i'll leave that until tomorrow night.
