sunday, out on the sporty, nipped in to see an old mate to catch up, used to see him every week but life got in the way, moving house, moving jobs, kids, blah, blah, blah, he was doing some maintenance on his 350 ducati single, badged as a condor, it was a swiss army despatch riders bike, we got talking and i told him about my mz racer project, he was impressed and opened up one of his out-buildings to reveal the mz ts 250, [foreground] and the mz 250 trophy background], the tank is off a dead rare mz 250 trophy sport, he has loads of spares and showed me another two trophy's out in the yard under a tarpaulin, the longer i looked at them the more i understood where he was coming from, he has some really nice classic bikes but there is just something really cool about these east german utalitarian motorcycles that really appeals.
