I've been asking the same questions. My Blog numbers are way down. I have a Pinterest account and it's booming. I've been think of starting an online magazine with all sorts of random motorcycle information. Your take on things is the best. I love your rants and video doesn't capture the rant as well (in my opinion). I for one would hate to see you go silent again. Voices like yours need to be heard. In the end it's about what works for you. If you decide to go to video let me know where I can find you. Whatever to do in whatever format you choose will be interesting.
Thanks OMD, for me it’s always been about sharing my experiences with like minded people, I’m not chasing ‘followers’ or ‘likes’ and although I’ve tried other platforms, Instagram, Tumblr etc I do like the blogger format. Like you I was wondering if video would be an option to freshen up the loveless blog and had thought about possibly doing test rides and product reviews but there are so many people doing it ( and I’m not very charismatic with my flat Derbyshire accent!) that I think I will leave it to the better suited ‘presenters’ out there. I think I’m going to continue with the tried and trusted, a couple of photos and the written word hopefully gets over what I’m trying to say. Ramble on!
Keep it to the writing and photos format Tim, your posts always make for a "good read", be it a rant, observation, or a post about taking the dog for a walk.
