where's the time going? only two week's until summer solstice and the day's will start getting shorter, two week's until the morini owners trackday at cadwell park, can't wait, had a look over the mz today, bollock's, not done anything about the carb jumping off problem that plagued us at rockingham, we need to retain the carb without bolting it up rigid to the barrel, quick sketch, dig out a piece of dural off-cut from the stock bin and machine to shape, load's of swarf, bollock's, the centre's are out so need to space out to miss the carb, make up two spacers to mount to the carb manifold, c and t?, clearance and tap, one hole is clearance, one hole undersize to tap, what's missing, u and n of course.....

my mate stuart came up on his s~#*ki sv this week, he wanted some new tyres fitting as his were the original fitment item's and well past their sell-by date, squared -off and hard, i dropped the wheel's out for him so that rob at racing lines could fit his new rubber, he bought up this classic micron paddock stand which i immediately coverted, i worked one of my 'stands into him as a swap for this little beauty, deal done, i re-drilled the mountings and turned down the hangers, going to nitromors the red paint off it and respray with a rattle can, got to be silver i think.......

barry sheene, he had lost his work's suzuki ride at this stage of his career and was toughing it out on a privateer tz yamaha, i loved this akai sponsored bike, the black paintjob with red and white 'speedblock's'.....
