classic tt races

to say i'm excited would be a bit of an understatement, thirty-one years since my last visit to the mecca of road-racing  that is the isle of man and all of a sudden it's approaching really fast, it seemed like an age ago back in february when i booked my ferry tickets, but, now it's less than a week away and i cannot wait to get over there, dangerous, chalky and sweary mick are sailing the day before on thursday, due to lack of annual leave and work commitments i'm going next friday morning on the first sailing from liverpool, it's going to be an early start, got to be up at 0300hrs, hopefully away just before four in the am, sailings at 0645 hrs which should get me onto the island for around 1030hours, now, do i go on the sporty or the ducati?..............

  1. Nice little "shake down" for the Ducati, OR which is the loudest, just before 4 in the am? Not at all envious.........................

  2. I'm at all envious Jan, just the going gets me green as a very green thing, somehow I vibe on the Sporty option but I could see the Duc being the more practical Lovey . . . either way mate, jealous as hell . . . but at least the following 24 part photo fest will reduce that somewhat. XX

  4. Something I always wanted to experience, but probably never will.
In time when western Civilization, in the name of safety and risk removal, seems to be on a course where we're all curled up in a padded cell in the fetal position, monitored by Big Brother and rewarded for good behavior with a pellet of soylent green dropped in a food tray, it's nice to know there are still events like the Isle of Man TT.
Enjoy it Loveless, and we expect a full report.

  6. thanks y'all, jan, you know, i might just start both of them up and annoy the fuck out of the neighbours, [wait til you see a future post and you will see why!] whitey, my big man-crush, one day mate, one day, that's all i'm saying...... edrick, good to strike up com's and we are deffo meeting up for a bit of anglo-oirish beer drinking and general piss-taking session, [good look to yer man richie as a newcomer, a couple of loveless stickers on the bike see's twenty quid in the pot] hermit, like you say mate, what ever happened to the real world, falling off skateboards and bmx's, swinging from ropes and falling in the river? grazed knees and broken teeth? when they ban the tt [like they eventually will in the future] let's remember the fact, no one was ever forced to race that road, larry, thank's, keep it on your list, in fact, i've got this vision of us all sitting at the bottom of bray hill as the bikes come down the hill, suspension bottoming, dust flying, you wouldn't believe it, no matter how many video's you watch, when you are standing there, for real, fucking hell............
