cutting the timing cover down on the sporty isn't a new mod but it looks cool-as, it's not as easy as it looks, you have to drop the four-cam's out which have to be re-timed, which means you have to drop the heads off because the pushrods are under tension and you really don't want all the aluminium swarf getting into the oil ways and blocking them off, there's something about ripping into the cover with a hacksaw that makes it all worthwhile though.....
