so, dinner time at work and the conversation turns to tattoos, [i'm in for three hours worth tommorrow], we are talking about the japanese theme that my tattooos are based on, it's a combination of my appreciation for the japanese woodblock masters and my martial art's background and we start to discuss the legend of the 47 ronin, or "chushingura", the absolute spirit of bushido, when i leave work to post the tachograph analysis i go to the local post-office and as i'm waiting i look at the books for sale in the charity rack, yep, there it is, a copy
of "47 ronin" by john allyn, 50p, bargain or what? the art work is a wood-block print by the famous artist kuniyoshi utagana.
